To complete a project a level of delegation is usually necessary. This allows the stakeholders to be in more than one place at a time. Invest a little time to save a lot of time. Delegation allows the manager to be free to work on planning and business analysis. It affords subordinates to gain experience doing the actions that the manager had previously done. First determine tasks you can delegate, then think about to whom or what you can delegate, spend the initial time explaining, set deadlines, periodically check-in, and work on higher level tasks yourself.
